PRODUCT & WORKFLOW GUIDE
Consignment shop software, from intake to payout
A consignment shop needs to know more than whether an item is in stock. Each piece belongs to someone, has an agreed split and needs a clear record when it sells. ResaleHQ brings those relationships into a dedicated workspace within the RepairHQ platform.
Start with the consignor agreement
Create a consignor or vendor profile, record contact details and keep agreement notes with the owner record. Establish the owner share before intake so the store has a consistent basis for reviewing later sales. An antique mall can also record a booth assignment and monthly rent.
The workspace records operational details. Review your actual consignment agreement separately; storing notes is not the same as collecting a signed contract.
Follow an item through checkout
Intake each piece with its own SKU, category, condition and consignment end date. A unique item should remain distinguishable from similar pieces, especially when several consignors supply the same category.
Connected checkout can include items from different consignors on the same invoice, using the business’s RepairHQ tax and payment configuration. Commissions are recognized after full payment, excluding sales tax.
Close the loop with the owner
Review the owner ledger before recording a payout. It brings together earned commissions, refund reversals, rent entries and payouts already recorded. Recording a payout documents money sent outside the app; it does not initiate a bank transfer.
Use an existing RepairHQ account and enable ResaleHQ in Store settings → Shop profile → Business workspaces. A separate consignor portal and automatic bank payouts remain planned.
